Will my dog have to adjust his/her bathroom, sleeping or playtime habits while boarding? Not at The Pets Inn, pets are given a tremendous amount of freedom. They can sleep, play or relieve themselves any time of the day. Following their regular schedule helps to make them feel safe and secure.

I’ve heard that some facilities only offer small crates for boarding my pet. Does The  Pets Inn have anything with more room? Yes, we have rooms that are larger than most other facilities. In fact, we have extra-large accommodations that allow
you to board more than one pet in the same room if you like.

What are the requirements for staying & playing at The Pets Inn ?
Dogs passing our personality and behavioral assessment are welcome to come for our group play service. We want all of our guests to have a positive, fun, and safe experience. Inappropriate behavior will result in termination of our group play services for your dog. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to, bullying another dog, biting, fighting, or any other behavior endangering the safety of our team members or other guests. We will discuss all situations and concerns candidly with you and recommend training options that may remedy any undesirable behavior.

What if my pet is declined for group play?
Your pet will then have one on one time with the staff, every hour on the hour for 25 minutes; we also include two individual walks a day.

How long will my pet be in his or her room?
Pets will be in their room two times per day for meal times.
We also rotate dogs in and out of group play and their rooms to keep the number of dogs in-group play at a safe and manageable number.

Do you have separate areas for small and large dogs?
We love dogs large and small! We have separate areas to accommodate dogs of all sizes. We have indoor play areas as well as outdoor play yards exclusively for smaller dogs. Your smaller sized dog can play in comfort knowing he is not going to be bullied by bigger dogs.

My dog loves the fresh-air and sunshine of the outdoors. Will he/she be able to go outside and play? If so, how often? The Pets Inn has an advantage over most all other boarding facilities. This allows your dog to go outside and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine whenever they like.
In addition, we offer a playtime that allows your pet to enjoy one-on-one private play or group play.

How many “potty breaks” does my pet get per day? The Pets Inn gives potty breaks every hour on the hour. Pets love our indoor-outdoor play area where they can come and go as they please.

Will my pet have any “potty accidents” when they return home? After a stay at The Pets Inn, it is very unlikely. This is due to our indoor-outdoor area so your pet can sleep inside and relieve themselves outside just like at home. All the potty training you’ve done with your pet is just reinforced at The Pets Inn. They are not forced to relieve themselves indoors or on carpets so they are not receiving mixed signals when they stay with us.

I noticed that my dog is especially tired after boarding. Is this normal? Yes. A stay at The Pets Inn can be very exciting! Some dogs run around barking at other dogs and have a wonderful time. They often leave exhausted but happy- and sleep a lot the first couple of days they are home.

Are there any suggestions when bringing my dog home from a stay at The Pets Inn? Yes. Some dogs may become overexcited from seeing their owners and the car ride home. Over excitement may make a pet pant a lot and act thirsty. He/she is probably not really thirsty, and had plenty of water available to them while staying with us. Give them a few ice cubes to tide them over until they settle down.
In addition, the same applies with food and you should know that excessive eating and drinking might lead to digestive upsets. Do not feed your pet for about three hours after returning home, and then limit the food and water your provide until they settle back in. Re-establish home patterns by following a normal schedule.
